24/7 leading pastoral care - support that feels like home

24/7 pastoral care - support that feels like home

Moving to a new country is a life changing step and we’re here to make it as smooth as possible for both Pacific Islanders and businesses. At the heart of our care are dedicated site teams and cultural welfare offices who work around the clock, offering hands on support – big or small. From fostering well-being and connection for workers as they adjust to new roles to communities and cultural differences, their proactive approach makes every worker feel welcomed, valued and at home.

Our cultural welfare officers, Pa Enari, a Samoan Chief and Mick Seduadua from Fiji bring invaluable cultural insights and personal ties to our pastoral care, offering emotional, social and even spiritual guidance. Together, these teams bridge cultural gaps, address challenges before they arise, and cultivate a reliable, engaged workforce that feels at home. Their presence reflects the depth of what makes RWM special – a commitment to care and connection.

The RWM Way - end to end support

RWM manages the entire PALM recruitment process, from recruitment, onboarding, visa and immigration processing, mobilisation and settling in Australia.

Step 1: Recruitment & Travel

RWM starts with a conversation to understand your workforce needs, then we handle the rest. Approvals and compliance, in country recruitment, visas, flights and arrival - we manage the full PALM pathway so you get reliable, engaged work ready staff.

Step 2: Settling in & onboarding

The first couple of weeks focus on getting employees set up properly including housing, transport, local community, financial confidence and full worksite induction. For our clients, that means employees who are settled, supported and ready to contribute from the start.

Step 3: Culture, connection & community

RWM's welfare and wellbeing teams, along with cultural welfare officers, support PALM employees to adjust, connect and thrive. They help them navigate cultural differences, settle into their new town and build a life beyond work. This means happy, engaged employees who are confident, reliable and integrated into both the workplace and local community.

Step 4: Skills & qualifications

RWM’s traineeship program gives PALM employees the technical and soft skills they need while balancing learning with daily operations. This means stronger compliance, fewer errors, increased productivity and a growing leadership pipeline as employees step into higher duties and supervisory roles.
