Our client is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager of a a team of up to 15 staff to join their busy automotive workshop. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a qualified Motor Mechanic with strong experience in servicing, repairs, diagnostics and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee daily workshop operations
  • Lead, support, and develop a team of up to 15 staff
  • Carry out and oversee diagnostics, servicing, and repair work as required
  • Communicate effectively with office and administration staff
  • Ensure health & safety compliance across the workshop
  • Foster a strong, positive, and productive team environment
  • Coordinate call-out jobs and occasional after-hours support
What’s on Offer
  • Full-time permanent position (38 hours per week, 5 days)
  • Occasional Saturday morning work (call-out coordination/urgent jobs)
  • Salary: $100k – $120k + Super (negotiable based on experience)
  • Company vehicle, phone, and performance-based bonuses
  • Supportive and busy workshop environment

  • Trade qualified Motor Mechanic
  • Strong background in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
  • Previous supervisory or workshop management experience
  • Confident leader who can work independently and take initiative
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to keep a fast-paced workshop running smoothly
