Key Responsibilities:
You will play a key role in ensuring the health and productivity of the poultry flock by:
- Assisting the Farm Manager in the daily operations and performance of the farming unit, providing expert guidance
- Independently managing and overseeing the health and welfare of the poultry flock, ensuring adherence to best practices in poultry farming
- Advising on and implementing measures for improvements and reducing of risks
- Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement protocols that align with both local and global standards
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary medicine with a focus on large poultry flocks
- Must hold a Veterinary Degree
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse nationalities and cultural backgrounds
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, dynamic farming environment
- Remote worksite with full on-site accommodation and utilities
- 6 weeks on/2 weeks off rotational work schedule
- Multiple return flights annually
- Paid visa processing, relocation assistance, and medical insurance
- Recreational facilities including swimming pool, games room, mini-market, and laundry services
