We are looking for a Marine Graphics & CAD Designer for our client, who is an Australian-owned manufacturer of high-quality plate alloy boats. In this role, you will create and produce in-house graphics and 3D CAD designs that are applied to every boat leaving our factory.
Key highlights:
- Full-time, Permanent Role; 38 hours per week (Monday-Thursday, Friday as required)
- Location: Bundaberg, QLD
- Immediate start
- Prepare and produce vinyl stripes, model decals, full boat wraps, compliance and safety labels, and custom graphics
- Develop 3D CAD designs for production and concept work
- Utilise the Digital Measuring System to create CNC-ready boat floor drawings
- Amend and maintain job manuals to reflect updated designs
- Take ownership of in-house graphics and design production, ensuring accuracy and quality
- Experienced with CAD software; Rhino experience is highly regarded
- Strong technical drawing and design interpretation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team
- Basic understanding of boat construction and manufacturing processes
