Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and machinery to minimise downtime
- Conduct fault finding, diagnostics and repairs
- Complete scheduled maintenance, equipment installations and improvement projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and spare parts inventory
- Ensure all work complies with safety procedures, manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Work closely with production teams to support operational targets
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety at all times.
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance environment
- Strong mechanical maintenance skills
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience working with preventative maintenance systems
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
