Aout the Role
Join a leading transport solutions provider supporting the road transport industry across Australia. We’re looking for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Service Department in Direk, SA. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing trailers and prime movers, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Perform servicing, mechanical repairs, and reconditioning on trailers and prime movers.
  • Diagnose and repair suspension, brake systems, axles, and basic electrical faults.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and is accurately documented.
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to resolve quality issues and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in pre-start safety routines and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
  • Adhere to timelines and communicate job progress with supervisors.
What You’ll Need
  • Experience in heavy vehicle or trailer maintenance (transport or automotive industry).
  • Strong knowledge of air brake systems, suspension, and trailer components.
  • Ability to work in a team, take initiative, and follow safety protocols.
  • Basic computer skills and clear communication abilities.
  • Relevant trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic (desirable).
