We are looking for a Facility Officer to provide essential services and support to multiple research groups. You will manage the central store, assist with building and facility maintenance, coordinate deliveries (including gases and dangerous goods), and support smooth operation of research facilities.
Contract: Temporary, full-time (OO3.1) until 21 November 2025
Location: Coopers Plains, Brisbane
Rate: $42.25 per hour (casual loading included)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to researchers.
- Manage central store services, including goods receipt, dispatch, and laboratory supplies.
- Assist with building and facility maintenance, contractor liaison, and emergency after-hours support.
- Ensure compliance with WH&S, environmental standards, and high-quality service delivery.
- Current "C" class driver's licence
- Forklift/trade qualifications advantageous
- Experienced in facility or store operations, ideally in a government, university, or hospital research environment
- Reliable, hands-on, and flexible with strong operational and maintenance skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook & Access).
