We are looking for an Electrician for our client who is leading a meat processing and food production business in Cooma, NSW.
- Permanent full-time position based in Cooma, NSW
- Monday to Friday rotating roster: Morning and Afternoon Shift
- Pay rate: $40.88 – $51.61 per hour (15% afternoon shift allowance)
- Respond promptly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics and repairs to minimise downtime
- Carry out preventative maintenance activities across plant equipment and systems
- Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately and on time
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong safety focus
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills within an industrial environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team; with strong commitment to workplace safety
- Experience within a food processing, manufacturing or production environment highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to mentor an apprentice
- Permanent full-time employment
